The Citizens have set their sights on Porto’s winger
MANCHESTER CITY BRAHIMI TANCREDI PALMERI EXCLUSIVE PORTO / MANCHESTER (UK) –Â Manchester City are already thinking about the future. Maybe lot of things will change at Etihad, starting from the manager, but anyway the club is already planning some moves for next summer.
Last friday the mancunians had a meeting with the entourage of Yacine Brahimi, the 25 years old french-algerian powerful attacking midfielder from Porto, who has been one of overall best players in Champions League Group Stage, where he scored 4 goals.Â
The meeting has been more than positive, and Manchester City made aware the delegation that they could be ready to pay the Brahimi's release clause of 45 millions of euro.
Mind that the relationship between Manchester City and Porto is excellent after the Mangala deal.Â
Maybe some whispers about this meeting arrived until the ear of Dzeko's agent, Irfan Redzepagic: the bosnian striker and Brahimi don't exactly play in the same positions, but surely landing Brahimi would reduce even more the space up front – where it is getting crowded after Bony's signing – and actually to many it seemed pretty out of the blue the words of the agent at the end of last week, when he said pretty openly that Dzeko would be happy to play next in a team like 'Juventus or Atletico Madrid'.
By the way, what is sure is that Manchester City have started pretty seriously their quest for Brahimi.
