This is how Osvaldo canned his comeback at Sevilla FC

The Argentine is more in love with beer and food rather then football

NEWS OSVALDO / He was a player with a great talent. His remarkable touches and killer instinct made him famous around the world. Certainly, he wasn't one of the best strikers in the world but a particular kind of player with temperament and personality. His skills convinced several sporting directors to hire him. During his career, Dani Osvaldo traveled a lot and wore several jerseys. Fiorentina, Espanyol, Roma, Juventus, Inter Milan, Porto, and Boca Juniors welcomed him in their rosters. Osvaldo also made 14 appearances for the Italian national team before he decided to retire. It was the year 2016 when the Argentine player decided to close his professional activity in the world of football.

Nowadays, Dani Osvaldo is a rock star. His passion for music was unstoppable and the 31-years-old preferred to hang up his boots to enjoy the good living.

In a recent interview, the former Southampton striker stated: “I didn't like gossip anymore. There was too much of it when I was playing for Boca Juniors. I couldn't go out. It was too much for me.”

Osvaldo, a man with a different attitude and way to enjoy life

Dani Osvaldo turned his back on football for a life of beer, rock music, and BBQs. Although several clubs were still chasing him, the forward from Buenos Aires refused all the offers.

Chinese clubs and teams that are currently playing the Champions League contacted me but in a moment when I was almost hating what I had always loved. I can also tell you a funny story.

When Sampaoli was Sevilla FC's coach he contacted me to ask my availability to sign for the Spanish side. He said: Dani, you can do what you want on the pitch and off, but I need a striker. But my answer was…boss, there’s the Cosquin Rock festival! He understood and said: I forgot! Of course, you have to go, you can’t miss it.”
